Missing: CT Silver Alerts Issued For Sisters, Ages 1, 3

Silver Alerts have been issued for a pair of children who were reported missing in West Haven and believed to be with their mother, police announced.

Connecticut State Police issued the alerts for Eden Louis, 3, and Elan Louis, 1, who were announced missing late on Tuesday night, Jan. 8.

The older Louis was described by police as a 2-foot African American girl with brown hair and hazel eyes weighing 40 pounds. Elan was described as an African American girl with brown hair and hazel eyes. She is 1-foot tall and weighs approximately 20 pounds.

Police said the girls are believed to be with their mother, 31-year-old Whitney Carmichael, who is driving a 2014 Silver Volkswagen Tiguan with Connecticut tags of AH18297.

No photos of the missing girls have been provided by police. According to police, the children's father has full custody. However, he had not seen the children since September.
